What do you do with a bottle of vodka after opening it?
Do you put it in the freezer or is it ok to just put it back on the shelf?

We keep ours on a shelf, its fine.
I think people keep it on the freezer because then its cold and ready to go for next time.

You dont have to put in the freezer. I just leave it out on the bar. Ok...I have one out on the bar and one in the freezer

yeah sure you can. It's basically a triple distilled alcohol. Nothing will happen to it.
meat and veggies can't be re-frozen becuase ice crystals form in their cells every time they freeze, and like little knives, they cut up the cell structure... sort of like puncturing waterballoons. One freeze is ok, but more than one, the meat /veggies get really mushy and taste wierd becuase they're being shredded from the inside out.
vodka, as long as its kept in its original container, can freeze/thaw dozens of times, and no one will even know it

Girl after my own heart
I have a bottle of grey goose for my BIL. It lives on the bar. I have not frozen it and it is fine.
I drink Vox, and I also have never put that in the freezer either. The only Vodka I ever put in the freezer was Skyy Cirtus for Lemon Drop shots.

or keep it in the freezer if you like the occassional and spontaneous vodka and red bull or lemon drop or vodka cranberry.
