Powdered - about $75 i think.

I use powder and spend $44 a month.

I don't use it anymore, but I would buy Similac Advance powder in a can and use the checks, so I would say I averaged about $20/week. When she turned 10 months, I started using Target brand formula and it was half the cost!

Well, all my figures are double everyone elses but here goes...

We go through a full can of Target Generic Gentlease (only avaialble in powder) every two days so...

$14.99 X 15 (cans per month)=$224.85 (36-40 oz a day)


Thank you Target or my bill per month on Gentlease would be... $23.99 X 15= $359.85 (36-40 oz a day)
w/o coupons

A singleton's cost would be... $112.43 generic
$179.93 Enfamil (w/o coupons)

Don't hate me but I haven't spent a dime on formula yet....my cousin got me cases and cases of similac. I still have 16 cases to go - and she keeps on stocking me up! LOVE HER!

I use Similac Isomil powder and spend about $100.00 a month.

i use powdered Gentlease ( only comes in powdered and I use coupons every time, I get a ton from Enfamil or I swap them etc, so far I spend with coupons about $40 a month.

I use Similac powdered and go through a big one about every week and half. So that's about 3 cans at $28 each, so $84.

We use Simiilac Advance ready to use and spend about $120 per month without coupons, less with them.

Well, we were not the ordinary case, but I wish I had known this could have happened to me before it did, so I'll share.
My daughter has a severe milk protein allergy, and at the time, a soy allergy.
So, we needed a prescription formula that was not covered by my insurance.
We paid close to 500 dollars a month and sometimes more for her formula, depending on how much she was eating.
That being said, we were lucky enough that a lot of wonderful girls on here helped us out and gave us some formula

my twins are on the same formula as Ava.
so...if we didn't have insurance we would pay over 1000.00 a month..
Although I have to say-we just got the statement and the med company billed the insurance company 3500.00 just for the month of July!!!!!!!!!!!!!! complete lie!

I have to use ready to feed because my son can't handle powder. A case of enfamil RTF is $32.99 (at BJs) and is slightly more formula than a can of powder (6-1 qt. cans). we go through about a case a week....luckilly because he still eats very small amounts.

so in a month a little over $120...i use coupons when i have them...it helps. i wish he could use powder....that would be $40 for something else!

Since ours is covered by insurance $40 co-pay per month. Otherwise we'd be spending what Rachel did.

We were spending $540 a month!

Insurance started covering it but we were still spending quite a bit until we hit our deductible. Figures, now we are going back to regular Similac then shortly after, milk.

We estimated it to be $100 a week for both boys. We use RTF formula and I am horrible with using coupons so I rarely do. I cannot wait till they turn 1.

I use the Similac Advance RTF and he goes through a case a week, so without coupons, that's $120. I use at least one $5 coupon per case, so it's $100 or less.
