What do you think about Chocolate Lolliops for christening favors shaped as crosses?
Is eating a cross weird for a christening? I never really thought about it bc I always save favors, even edible ones but now that I think about it, eating a cross is weird right? Unless people just see it as candy...

What about doing chocolates in a box/bag with a small cross on a ribbon with DCs name on it?

I do not like chocolate lollypops shaped like a cross- for some reason the whole thing creeps me out... I went to Grandma's Candy Kitchen in Wantagh and got chocolate molds that are round that say baby's baptism with a small cross in the middle instead.

Just my opinion but I'm not a fan of chocolate lollipops. I always end up throwing them out.

i love anything chocolate.
ETA: Im not sure that i'd even have reservations about eating a chocolate jesus, but i'm sure some people would. I was more freaked out when i was little and they told me i was eating the body of christ. Took me a while to get over that one.

i've gotten crosses before and DH never had a problem eating them. I'm not a big chocolate person. lmao.
we used the round molds that have a cross in the center and say "baby's christening" around it.

I made them and everyone loved them. I went to Granny's Kitchen and I also got little sugered flowers to put in the center of the cross. It "dressed " it up a bit.

Same here. I'm not really sure why. But truth be told I've seen a lot of pics posted here with chocolate and cookie crosses and they look adorable. I was just uncomfortable doing them.

We bought them from a store that made them and honestly every single one of them were eaten. I never thought about it as a weird thing ( eating a chocolate cross). They were yummy!
