What do you top your baked mac and cheese with?
My MIL's mac and cheese recipe is really good, and the only one I've ever made. But, there's no topping on it and I feel like something's missing. What do you ladies use as a topping for mac and cheese?

seasoned breadcrumbs and my mom would do thinly sliced tomato as well.
I put a lot of breadcrumbs. it's my favorite part!

I use toasted and buttered pita bread crumbs. I have thought about trying crushed Chez-its.

melt butter, add breadcrumbs. spread with spoon over the top. Bake.
Makes such a wonderful crunchy top.

Usually breadcrumbs. Sometimes I use a mixture of Breadcrumbs and crushed Cheddar Goldfish.

I usually stick with a layer of cheese. Sometimes I'll go the breadcrumb/panko route.

Breadcrumbs. I also broil it for a few minutes at the end so the top gets nice and crispy.
