living through De Bozo was hell on wheels.
now it feels like the twilight zone.
In what universe is this ok? to exempt "VIP"s but you fired heroes? f o h
It’s sick.
Now they announced in nyc kids can’t go to prom unless they are fully vaccinated.
Unbelievable. The rest of the country is living like normal and there is NYC, still back in 2020.
It's crazy, I looked it up after you said it and it was actually a few weeks ago but it seems not have gained a lot of media attention locally. Crazy!
I looked it up too and I see a lot of news articles saying it-- they say it's because it's included in extracuricular activies, but I'm not seeing it actualy stated by the Mayor or Chancelor anywhere-- did you see it expressly stated somewhere?
Says Dept of Ed
https://www.mytwintiers.com/health/coronavirus/nyc-high-schools-no-vaccine-no-prom/
right, but that's an article. I was looking for the actual rule/guideline. It says this, but it's not even a quote from someone: The Department of Education said the city is “excited” school dances are back and “permitted for our vaccinated students, adding the possibility of allowing unvaccinated students to attend prom could be revisited in the future.
Lee Zeldin even had it up on his fb so it sounds like it is a real thing.
Here's my thing. Ok if the prom is on school property then ok.
If prom is OFF SITE w t f does DOE have to do with it? Again, F O H
It all makes no sense as you can have another event at the same place and not have the same mandate.

I don’t care. I honestly don’t care.
And herein lies the problem with humanity.
How sad.
I guess the mandates haven’t impacted you or your family or children. That must be all that matters to you.
Lucky you.

Luck you. NJ has lifted them, but it has all just become too much. Sorry you cannot appreciate that.

Am I reading this correctly? You are attacking this poster that you think is only thinking of themselves while you just cursed them out?

What are you talking about? Cursed who out? What? I’ve never cursed anyone out in my life and… I’m not attacking anyone. Pointing out that it’s people only caring about themselves that is the problem in our world. Thousands have lost their jobs. Kids are being blocked from things they worked their entire life for. But Kyrie can play!!! But alas, people don’t care.

Maybe re-read your post then as it sounds like you are using luck as a different word.

lol, ok, it sounded like something else.
I think at this point many are just over this and even in a situation like this (which IMO is ridiculous as once again they are doing for some but not others, the others that actually COUNT) and just want to move on. The power and control over this virus is getting ridiculous and NY seems to be hanging on by a thread to continue. Every other state seems to have moved on and people are living their lives and not in fear as they are still trying to do in NY.
