What does your 3 yr old use as flotation in the pool?

I bought Rylan a Puddle Jumper but was wondering if there's anything better. Is there anything besides a tube float that will keep him somewhat upright and above water? I would be with him at all times but also have Xavier that will need attention so I wold like Rylan to be a little more independent.

What about just the arm floaties? DD is using the floatsafe floties and she's almost 22 months.

I have a puddle jumper for DD, and she likes it, but she honestly did better with arm swimmies and an inner tube...she'd just float around and kick her legs...

I was always right there, but she did like to "do it by herself"

I feel like the puddle jumper is a little better helping her learn how to swim (kick her legs to keep her moving, etc.)

I have the fabric covered swimmies too...i'll try those. I was to scared to use them last year...lol. I need to find a tube to use them with...i only have the ones with the net they sit in.

i have the puddle jumper for DD...she did awesome with it last summer...could swim around my parents whole pool

We bought the puddle jumpers last year for my twin 3 yo and my niece and nephew 2 and I have to say they all do awesome with them. We go on vacation to a lake every year and the 4 of them we off and going with these things. I like the fact that their face does not go in the water and unlike arm bands these can not fall off..

Landon uses arm smimmies. He swims often and is pretty good.

The life jacket someone posted above is awesome. I have them for my boys. While they can swim enough - it is great for in between or when unattended. We first used them in disney and went home and found them online and had to buy them. We have had them since my lyoungest son was 2 (he is almost 4 now).
