This was mine last year. I'm hosting again this year and will have many of the same items, but will switch up a few!
We are Italian, so we follow the tradition of the 7 fish.
Zeppoles (Savory - Some plain, some with anchovies) Shrimp Cocktail Cold Antipasto - Cheeses/Meats/Olives
Linguini with Clam Sauce Fried Calamari with Lemon and Marinara Shrimp Scampi Crab Cakes Baked Clams Bacala - My Mom is bringing bc I have no idea how to make it and it STINKS! lol
Chopped Salad Spicy Garlic Broccoli & Couliflower Stuffed Mushrooms & Zucchini Rice Balls
Cookies Peppermint Fudge Fruit/Nuts

Are you going traditional with the 7 fishes? I like to do that when I host. However, I am not cooking this year so I have no menu plan. My family usually goes 1 of 2 routes. The first being a ham, traditional ham, with pineapple. Sides include potatoes, vegetables, etc. The second is the 7 fishes plus everything else... I usually start with appetizers, olive tapenade (anchovies!), shrimp cocktail, mussels cooked in wine sauce, mini-crab cakes etc. (I usually do 5 fishes during appetizer) and then 2 for the main course: we have salmon or some sort of white fish for dinner. Dessert is usually homemade italian cookies and pastries.

We do similar to this - DH is Italian so MIL does Christmas Eve with all the fish -- she does more of almost like a Cocktail Hour at a wedding - TONS of food out on tables, being passed, etc. Then she has buffet style chafing dishes (she does like an INSANE amount of people)... but she does these types of dishes...
A few to add that MIL does and I don't see on the AP's list: Fried Zucchini flowers, baked brie, fennel, cheesecake, rainbow (or tri color) cookies, and pignoli nut cookies -- those two cookies are an Italian tradition. Oh and escarole and beans sauteed in olive oil and garlic - that and the flowers are my FAVES!!!!!
