What does your dream nursery look like?
I have created many crib bedding sets, with various colors and themes. But if you had your choice, and money was not important, what kind of bedding would you choose? Of course, there are so many options, but would it be a traditional baby theme like Winnie the Pooh, or more sophisticated like something you would see on poshtots.com, or maybe a more modern set? I'm trying to get a feel for what new mothers here on long island are looking for.
Thanks for the help!

Re: What does your dream nursery look like?
I am a Hello Kitty fanatic, I always dreamed I would have a little girl so I could have a Hello Kitty Nursery. Figures I would be pregnant with a boy!!! lol
There are Hello Kitty bedding sets out there but they only come in pink or purple.
I like the Hello Kitty Angel which is a baby blue color but I could not ever find it out there. I am including the "motif" so that you know exactly what I am talking about. There is NOTHING out there with this kind of Hello Kitty!!! XOXOXO BOTB Image Attachment(s):

Re: What does your dream nursery look like?
I would love a serene and mellow nursery. Soft colors, no characters (maybe some baby animals- but not disney or cartoon).

Re: What does your dream nursery look like?
a light airy tropical- neutral colors, palm trees with animals and sea life. Super soft fabrics, flowy curtains...i cant find a palm tree bed set any where.

Re: What does your dream nursery look like?
You are right, I looked for good "beach" or tropical fabrics. I found a nice neutral palm tree fabric, but finding good fish or such fabric to match is a problem. Its all in shades of blue, instead of more neutrals, or sage like the trees.
Surfing, beach fabrics with bright colors are much easier.
As far as the posh tots type sets, I will be offering a "blue bunny" blue and white set using the same bunny toile, with a fully gathered striped skirt. It is a beautiful fabric.
I take looking for fabric to match specific themes a challange, keep the ideas coming!

Something gender nuetral with pale greens or tans. Maybe some animals on it or baby items (rattles etc.). I have had such a hard time with gender nuetral bedding!

I love sets from Poshtots.com. Toiles, florals, eyelets, etc . My favorite companies are Nava & Glenna Jean. The sets you have posted her are just beautiful! I wish I had known about you before I did my kids nurseries

Re: What does your dream nursery look like?
As a reminder to all who cannot find sets you love. There is an enormous amount of wonderful quality fabrics out there-
Toiles, cotton fabrics with baby items like rattles, and toys, and my personal favorites for little girls-Shabby Chic-lots of florals.
IF anyone is interested, just email me what you are looking for, even sets from other sites, and I can direct you to fabrics which can be made into your dream crib set.
And to all those wonderful comments I have heard from those who took at a look at my website..thanks so much , it always makes my day!

Re: What does your dream nursery look like?
If money were no option....my son would have the ULTIMATE sports-themed room. NY Giants blue, white, grey, and red, soft hand-made bed linens with the Giants logos on them---maybe with a few little footballs and/or field goal pictures sewn in? The sheets would be a mock-football field with all of the yard-lines sewn on them, NY Yankees/Giants pictures lined around the room, and a few hockey sticks, footballs, baseballs, basketballs positioned around the room. I'd have a glider in there so I could soothe him back to sleep when he's feeling lonely or cranky. And at least a crib and a dresser for him when he gets to be a few months old. But, unfortunately, money is a huge obstacle right now, so the room is painted blue with no furniture or anything else sports-related in it. But, maybe in time I'll be able to give him what I want him to have......who knows.
Best of luck with your business!!!

Re: What does your dream nursery look like?
anything from PoshTots.com is dreamy!!
I prefer something that is more sophisticated but not over the top. And something different.
No characters. Beautiful fabrics and patterns.
Also - the opportunity to buy pieces as separates. For my next baby I am really going to try to find this. Quilts are beautiful but a waste since you can't use them. You can hardly see the bedskirt on my crib so I won't buy another. I want nice sheets, a bumper, and window treatments that coordinate. I also think that coordinating wall art/decals/name letters would be great as well.
I love all of your work. I can't wait to get pregnant again so I cam start looking for new bedding on your site.
Good Luck!

I love so many things on poshtots.
I love the interesting crib skirts. I would love to see one with a lush bubble hem or one with pleated organza underneath a layer of pretty patterned cotton. Image Attachment(s):

Check out my newest sets, the first made for a LI families member. She picked out the fabrics, and I made the set.

Re: What does your dream nursery look like?
I LOVE pigs...........I know, weird!! I searched everyone for pig bedding so I could do a "3 Little Pigs" theme and I found nothing. So pigs would be my vote for bedding.
