Programs differ from place to place. Some programs allow children to still be in diapers while others do not...
Caden will be going to the nursery school program at the JCC which is on Hauppauge Road. He'll go when he is 3...
Do you want Charlie to go to a religious affiliated preschool? Maybe check out and see what your parish has to offer...
I forget the names of the schools but the ones in your area that Im familiar with..(Ive had friends whose children have gone there)..is the one on Townline kind of across from Peppertree Commons...and the one on, I believe, it's Burr Road and Larkfield. My girlfriends were very happy with them.

Re: When do you look for preschools/nursery schools?
I wanted to know what type of activities they did during the day. What the ratio for child to teacher &aid were. How they disipline and what actions do they take if a child is actually hurt.
I am sending DS in Oct. (he has to be 2.5 to start) if they make another class. It is a catholic nursery and he does not need to potty trained. Their are 16 kids to a class with 1 teacher and 3 aids in each class. They are 2.5 hours long and 2 days a week. They do circle time as a group which includes reading a books, signing and prayer. Then they have 4 activities going on at once and the groups rotates. They also go outside if the weather is nice.
