What Double Stroller are you getting?
I figured I should start the search now since it took me a long time to pick out my travel system with Andrew.
Which one are you getting?

Re: What Double Stroller are you getting?
See i was trying to figure that out as well. However, I dont think I will be getting a double stroller until baby number 2 can sit in the stroller with her brother. For now i will use my stroller that I have for DS for him and use the baby BJorn for DD.

I got the graco duo glider last yr when my 1 yr old was born and I used it with her and my now 4 yr old.. I will be using it for the baby and her it worked out great.. Its sturdy even if you have 2 infants in it I would use it often with my niece and dd and the infant carseat locks in the front and the back..

Ok i happen to like this one b/c I have the single one in the same print. Is this one light? I hate double strollers b/c they are so heavy. But if this one is light than I might get this one.

Re: What Double Stroller are you getting?
The Graco is def one of the lightest I tested out and the folding was so fast and easy.
I am leaning towards the Graco but this means I would have to get a new carseat.

Re: What Double Stroller are you getting?
I'm getting either the Bumbleride Indie Twin or the Valco Baby Trimode Twin Runabout.
I've been agonizing over this decision for months, and I'm ordering one of the two this week.
I have an older hand me down version of the Duoglider from my SIL - I'm not a big fan of the tandem.

I am considering these-I am really concerned because my DH is 6'4 and I cannot try out any of these strollers. Is there a store where they have higher end strollers even in the city? When I come in Sept maybe I'll take a trip.
I am also considering the BOB Duallie or the City Series

Me neither but if you use your stroller a lot it is worth it to get a great one. My friend had the peg perego twin aria and she liked it and its not that expensive.

Nope still won't do it. I use one all the time now with Andrew and still couldn't get myself to spend that much money on a stroller. But more power to you if you can do it

Re: What Double Stroller are you getting?
Is there a double stroller where you can put an infant in WITHOUT the carseat? I'm not a fan of using carseats in strollers, I find it annoying, but apparantly I'm the only mother on the planet that feels this way. Is there a double stroller out there that I can put my toddler in and my infant with no carseat??!

I think having a side by side is too bulky for me to manuver and it doesn't pay to have an almost 3 year old next to an infant....I am getting a Sit and Stand Plus. I am going to have a hard time giving up my awesome PP Pliko Lite though These double strollers(for toddlers and infants) need a redesign!!

I've heard great things anout the BJ City Mini. I checked it out at BBB. I just like the look of the others better.
We trekked to Brooklyn to try out the Indie Twin - there are no closer stores on LI, but a dozen in Brooklyn that carry it (?). I haven't seen the Valco in person yet. By the time you visit, I should have one of them - you can take it for a test drive at my house!

I feel the same way. My son was never in his carseat, but I had the stroller where you could move the handles, so that I could see him when I was pushing him. I wish I could find a double stroller where I could do that.

neither am I. Al wants one with pnuematic wheels so he can take it on the trails - that's a huge limiting factor.
I feel like I can splurge since I never bought a good stroller for Ella. I was going to get the Bumbleride Flyer for her, but just wound up dealing with my Inglesia Tripp (that we got for free).

Its not that heavy of a stroller. Its a little heavier then the single one but it folds up easily. All you need is one hand to fold it away.. Also for the price I thinks its sturdy and durable.. My first stroller was 2x the price it was a peg perego single stroller and it was extremely heavy and wasnt durable at all.It wound up breaking before my son was 1 and I bought a cheap stroller to replace it.I would definately recommend this one especially since I have used it for 1 1/2 yrs and Im going to use it for another 2 yrs atleast.

I have this problem too, but I am not getting a new car seat. Either my old one (Chicco) can just "sit" in the stroller or we will take DS out of the car seat and just put him in the stroller. I am not investing in a new car seat and all the bases
