For his first I had hero's (which nobody ate) 2 meat dishes and then I made penne a la vodka with chicken and something else but I don't remember.

I don't want to do hero's again because it was a waste.
So far I have only come up with Baked ziti, penne a la vodka with chicken, pasta and brocolli with chicken and salad. I will make those because that is easy enough but I have no idea about meats.

I am also not sure how many people we are having beecause I haven't sent out the invite yet Chat Icon They seriously need a drive thru window at the post office

Though I am the biggest pasta lover in the WORLD, that sounds like a lot of pasta.

I'd do either the baked ziti, or the penne ala vodka. Not both.

Maybe then for a pasta dish WITHOUT red sauce, you can do the pasta with chicken and broccoli. Or mix it up with maybe TORTELLINI with chicken and broccoli.

Also, what about:
* Fresh Mozzarella and tomato salad
* Garden salad
* Ribs
* Chicken- either parm, marsalla, or francese
* Chicken nuggets, french fries and mac and cheese for the kids
*Maybe just a cold cut platter.
* Cheese platter
* Crudite and dip
* Maybe some stromboli's. You can order several from a pizzeria and just cut them up. They are awesome and make great finger foods.

I agree with Val - sounds like too much pasta.

Do one pasta - either Ziti or Penne ala vodka.

A chicken dish (chicken parm or marsala)

How about eggplant? or shrimp?

Instead of getting an entire hero I have seen places that do hero platters?

Mac and cheese for the kiddies?
