What happened at your 20wk visit (if you had the Level II done outside the dr.'s office)
I just realized I forgot to ask my dr. what will go on at the next visit. The past two visits have just been weight, blood pressure and heart beat. Is the 20 wk the same? Thanks ladies!
Oh and, I will be having the Level II done at a hospital since the dr. doesn't do it at his office.
Thanks!

I had my Level II done at the office, with a sono tech, then had my appointment right after. If I remember correctly, he just looked at notes or pictures from Level II, and said everything looks great, and then it was just the regular appointment stuff...weight, blood pressure, check urine, ask any questions. I *think* that's it.

I had all of my sonos done outside of the office. So since about 10 weeks all of my appointments have just consisted of peeing in a cup, getting weighed, getting yelled at for not gaining weight, doctor coming in and listening to my complaints of the past weeks and reassuring me all of them are normal and then kicking me out of there.

Thanks ladies! This is very helpful! I just wanted to know if I should be prepared for any kind of internal exam

I don't think they will have any internals until 36 weeks

The level II takes anywhere from 1/2 hour to an hour. They measure a WHOLE bunch of things, bone growth, parts of organs, etc - so you get to see alot. They also measured the heart Beat & we got about 10 pics of the nugget!
ETA there was no internal

My Level II was done at the imaging place, not the DR's office. Basically the lady who did it spent about 30-40 minutes just taking all the measurements of different parts, and then she spent about 15 minutes showing me and pointing out stuff like the feet, the spine, and of course the boy parts since they were just hanging out!

My Level II was at the hospital too, so my 20 week visit was the same stuff as the others--weight, urine, blood pressure, hearbeat. I think around 28 weeks they started measuring my belly and internals start at 36 weeks for me.

Well we had the level II at the dr's office, but with a tech after hours & then the next day I met w/ dr. & as others have said it was just a regular appt. She confirmed all looked great from sono & then it was bp, weight, pee in cup and heartbeat.
