What happened in Masapequa Park?
There have been cops on Sunrise and park Blvd for hours and traffic was backed up. I heard someone was hit by a car. Anyone have more details?

From Newsday:
A pedestrian was hit by a car in Massapequa just before 5 p.m. Thursday, leading to the shutdown of Sunrise Highway in both directions, Nassau police said.
The accident took place near Park Boulevard, police said.
No other details were immediately available.
