DD LOVES to dance, she is always dancing and RockBand's with Daddy and does the fist pump when she wants music. I think dance classes or gymnastics with other kids would be good for her but at 18 months is it too early??

Re: What is a good age for gymnastics or dancing classes?
Can't speak for Dance as I have a DS, but we did gymnastics at about 20 months. He enjoyed it but it was alot of work for me because to at that age they are in a M&M class and you need to lift them, help them on the bars etc We did it for a few months and then stopped and I said he could do it again when he was old enough to do it himself not a M&M class.
Also at that age IMO it was hard to get them to concentrate on the activity. He understood what he was suppsed to do but was sometimes more interested in other things and I would have to chase him around the gym. The only activity he would do with no argument and no help was the trampolines!
