What is everyone's MUST HAVE kitchen gadget?
Right now, as I am learning to cook, I am loving the George Foreman with removable plates becasue it helps make really simple meals.

Crock pot for sure. You just toss in the ingredients and walk away.
And a rice cooker (if you eat rice). Love it!!!
When I first started coooking, I would use the foreman Grill. I never use it anymore b/c as I have leared more with cooking, I found that the foreman grill squeezes the meat so much that all of the juice and flavor gets sucked out of it.
I found that the meats came very dry on it, so now I won't use it for meats. I might grill veggies on it or try to make a panini (I didn't get rid of the griill yet), but never again for meats.

I love to bake, so I love my Kitchenaid Mixer, I also love my Crockpot and my Panasonic Convection Microwave Oven, that makes perfect sweet potatoes!

stainless sautee pan
tongs
wooden spoons/plastic spoons
plastic and wooden cutting boards
paring knife
santoku knife
carving knife
pepper mill
spatula

LOVE LOVE LOVE my Kitchen Aid! even though it's an appliance, not a gadget.
aside from that, my must have gadgets are:
cheese grater
measuring cups/spoons
spatula/scraper
my silicone grip oven mitts
mixing bowls
wooden spoons
thongs

My Cuisenart Mini Prep. It is the absolute best thing I own kitchenwise. I broke my original one and was MISERABLE for a week until I replaced it.

ITA! also the crock pot. We use garlic a lot so I think I may buy the garlic press.

Ulu knife!
It's a one handed chopper with a curved handle. I would not be able to survive without it, it's so easy to cut things vs a knife. I also have 3 kids whose meals I cut up (and sometimes I do DH's too  ) and it's so much easier and faster.

My new fave is the Oster Food Steamer.
I got it for 15 bucks at Target 2 weeks ago!
I use it almost everyday.
I steam fish, rice, veggies.
It's wonderful, especially since I've been trying to cook healthier.
You just set the timer and walk away! It even has a delay setting.
I use my crockpot once in a while. Maybe once a month. When I make chiken in there it comes out dry (but there's still a lot of sauce )

Bread crumb grater from ikea that catches the crumbs in a little box this. Best $3.00 I spent there 
Williams Sonoma brownie slicer- my MOH threw it in my wishing well and it's great
My flavia drink station makes single cups of tea, coffee and cocoa

My new favorite is the Toss N Chop.
I actually registered for it for my bridal shower but just opened it last night when I wanted to make a chopped salad....I Love It!!
