I've done this also!
That's what I tried but it's not working - not holding him firmly enough and he's sort of just coming off of it

i bought the wedge thing with the incline and just put them on their sides..mila ended up sliding onto her back but Gianluca slept on his side the whole time..now i just roll a bigger blanket to keep him there
