What is the best diaper to avoid having to change pee pee diapers overnight?
My DS's diaper was SOAKED this morning because I hadn't changed him all night long. We're talking 12-13 hours!
I'm so hesitant to change a pee pee diaper because he totally wakes up from it, so I have this dilemma back and forth in my head in the middle of the night... to change or not to change. Of course, poopie I change, but pee pee I let go sometimes.
Well, he slept so long last night (thank God! Mommy needed it!) that this morning, he was all wet, my poor little guy.
So, what is the best diaper for overnights to hold a lot of pee pee? He's wearing size 2. I looked in the store the other day and couldn't find an overnight diaper for size 2.

For us Huggies Overnights have always worked the best though I don't think they start till size 3. Maybe you could double up?

Or you can try those diaper doubler things- they sell them in BRU. They look like a big azz maxi pad but they work pretty well to increase absorbancy in a regular diaper

Oh I just remembered that Pampers baby dry worked for overnight as well. They definitely come in size 2.

I used Pampers swaddlers/cruisers and If I had a leaky night I jut went up a size at night! Never really used over-nights or anything and rarely had problems!

Ds2 is sttn 12-13 hrs and doesn't leak out of Luvs. We use 1 size larger overnight than we use during the day.

We use pampers extra protection for Overnights. DD sleeps about 12 hours every night. Huggies snug and dry works well too.

We used Huggies Overnights for DD#1, but I think they changed their diapers b/c they did not work as well for DD#2.
ETA: We always went 1 size up in overnight diapers.

Re: What is the best diaper to avoid having to change pee pee diapers overnight?
Once dd started STTN I went up a size in an overnight diaper. I found size 3's in Huggies overnight from amazon.com I couldn't find them in the stores. I highly suggest them. Once she went to size 4's and ups we went to Pampers extra protection and I love them!

Re: What is the best diaper to avoid having to change pee pee diapers overnight?
DS uses one size up in the Pampers extra protection overnights. No leaks yet! With DD I used diaper doublers and they were great too. I thought they didn't make them anymore, but I'm glad to hear they still do.

We use buggies overnights with a diaper insert. Haven't had a problem since we started using those things!

Re: What is the best diaper to avoid having to change pee pee diapers overnight?
I use hte pampers overnights...DS is in a 3 so I would say they probably have size 2.
I put it on right after DS's bedtime bottle, then he usually gets another 6oz around 4am, and then I usually change him around 7:30am.

Trial and error because you are going to get so many diff answers on here!
For my DD - Huggies leaked and caused a major rash in one night!
I have always used Pampers and have never had an issue. My DD even threw a dry one in the toilet one time and it soaked up almost all the toilet water and when I picked it up , it wasn't even leaking! I kid you not - TRY IT!
