Steak: ROhtmans

What is your absolute favorite LI restaurant?
Best sushi- Aji 53
Italian- Baci
Steak- Texas Roadhouse is actually pretty good for lower end, or Paces more upscale
Fast- hands down Flos Luncheonette in Blue Point.

What is your absolute favorite LI restaurant?
I'd actually say Z Pita in Port Jeff, though it's certainly not a fancy place. Small, cozy, and i love their food and huge glasses of wine.

Dark Horse in Riverhead. The owner is Gluten-Free so there are no hidden glutens anywhere in the menu. The crab cakes are AMAZING!

I find most are overrated.
Now ask me about NYC or New Orleans and I would have trouble picking just one!

I feel like this is a tough question to answer for me because I like a lot!
However, The Riverhead Project in Riverhead, King Umberto's in Elmont, Kitchen A Bistro in Saint James, Park Place in Floral Park, Sage Bistro in Bellmore, Press 195 in Rockville Centre, and Pretty Toni's in Valley Stream are up there.
For "chain" food, Greene Turtle in Franklin Square, hands down.

I have so many!
George Martin in Rockville Centre has a pretty good variety of food. I've never disliked anything I've had there.
Morton's is probably our favorite LI steak house.
Prime Catch in RVC or Louie's in Port Washington for seafood.

Been to both Tellers and Paces and they are so overrated and expensive. I agree, the restaurants in the city are so much better.

Sempre vivilo in hauppage for Italian
La plage in wading river for French.
