I mean, I guess they are just not a "kid friendly" place --- and that's fine. Not all places have to be kid friendly, I can understand that some people would want to eat without having to see a baby at the next table smoosh food all in her hair....and some places might not want to clean up after a baby...but we were just surprised because we've been to some pretty nice places that still have high chairs.

You are right, they are not kid friendly, but I usually bring my own. Logan is pretty good, he's been to at least 15-20 restaurants so far
I am now a mother and can appreciate both sides, there are nights where I want to go out and not be surrounded by children, so its nice to know that there are some places that would lend themselves to that. I work with children all day long and have my own, so sometimes I just need to relax.
This thread is making me want to go out to eat...I have a gc to Atlantica, anyone eat there???

Il Capuccino in Sag Harbor is my favorite!
They have THE BEST garlic rolls, and my fave dish is tortelloni pistacchio

Depends on what I want to eat.
I love Tellers for steak. For Italian, Baci in Westbury. For American variety, I really like Singletons in Bethpage.
Oh and Elijah Churchills in Northport is really good too.

I love Iavarone. My sister used to bartend there after college, my grandparents live over there, and my dad's company was in the bldgs across the street, so we have been going for years & years. There food is always good & consistent.

Right now it's the Pine Island Grill at the Crescent Beach Club for a more continental menu.
Burton & Doyle's for a great steak.
