Green Eggs & Ham

Ohhh, I forgot that one! That was the first book I read all on my own!

There was another series of books I loved, but I can't remember what they were... something about a few kids living in a train car? Anyone know what I'm talking about?

I loved Judy Blume books - we were actually talking about them at work today.

But my two favorite books growing up had to be "Danny The Champion of the World" by Roald Dahl and "In Summertime It's Tuffy" by Judie Angell.

anything by Judy Blume, Madeline L'Engle, the Frances books (A Bargain for Frances, A Birthday for Frances), anything by Beverly Cleary.

My all time favorite books was "Katie John" by Mary Calhoun.

When I was really young I loved books by a Japanese photographer - he took pictures of fairy tale character puppets. Here's a pic of Cinderella:

I still have the book that my Grandma used to read to me over and over. It's been read so much that it's falling apart but I will never get rid of it because it brings back such good memories of her. It's " Once Upon A Time in the Meadow" Chat Icon
