Gymnastics is my favorite, but this year I've also really enjoyed the swimming and synchronized diving.

Nbc keeps posting results on their Facebook page even though they don't air until prime time. It's so annoying.

What is your favorite Olympic sport?
I love swimming, diving, synchronized diving, and gymnastics. A friend's brother is competing in his second olympics in javelin!

That made me so angry. I saw it after getting home from work, then they put a little bit on at 8 and didn't finish the rest till...I guess after 11:30 since I couldn't stay up!!
DH said he can't understand why they do that since I'll bet there are a lot of young girls who really love to watch it - I know I did - and how are they going to stay up that late?!

I've been watching the live events on the NBC app on my TV with the firestick. You really can't expect the whole world to keep the results mum right after a huge live event that happened hours before the primetime coverage. I've learned to just stay off the computer until Primetime airing if I don't want to know the results for events.
The gymnastics all around is starting at 3pm today live on the app (you have to flip from the general coverage to each apparatus during the rotations if you want to just see the US girls)

What do you mean why bother airing it? The daytime live coverage isn't with our own commentators, and doesn't just only cover team USA, like what you mostly see in Primetime. I'm sure the majority of people aren't watching the live feeds, so that is why they show it in Primetime.

Which I can understand - but 11:00 is not Prime Time, is it? They've been showing swimming all the time. I like swimming, but there are about 42 million races. Only one women's gymnastic all around. Screw Swimming!!

Swimming is live at that time each night so that is why they cut into it from the other sports. I agree, it's a lot of swimming, but I think swimming and gymnastics attract the most viewers which = more money for NBC from commercial sponsors ;)

Yeah I too am tired of watching swimming even though I do like it once in a while....
But enough is enough!
Thank god for online streaming! I downloaded the NBC Sports app onto my Fire TV and am now able to watch whatever I want, including highlights and the Men's Gymnastics Event which didn't really get much coverage.
