What is your makeup routine?
I'm sure this has been done before, but someone happened to mention to me over the weekend that I wear too much makeup (which I totally disagree with....I don't look like Snooki or anything!). But, the comment was more about my foundation being too much.
For me I do a mouse foundation, a powder on top, some blush, 2 layers of eye shadow (darker on the whole lid and light in the corners) and mascara.
What do you do?

What is your makeup routine?
I use Maybelline Dream Smoothe Mousse, Bronzer, Eyeliner and Mascara. On the weekends I usually omit the Eyeliner.

Home days:
I don't usually do my eyes.
Weekends it all depends.

Eyeliner
Shadow
Mascara
Lip balm - can't stand lipstick or gloss.

eye shadow (this varies in how heavy/complicated it gets)
setting spray
curl lashes
mascara
lipstick/gloss
optional-
highlighter
eyeliner
eyebrow pencil
clear mascara for brows
It may just be the type of foundation & your application technique that makes it look too heavy.
I find mine looks more natural when I use a stippling brush & go light with the power. I actually use Bare Minerals Matte powder foundation as my powder b/c it doesn't cake up & doesn't make me break out.
Also, with eyeshadow, I find it can look like too much if the highlight in thr inner corner is too light, to sparkly, or covers to much area.

I only wear foundation if I'm going to a wedding or something and will be really done up .....
I actually have nice skin (thank you, Nana) so I don't need the foundation. I put the bronzer anywhere you'd get flushed from the sun - Cheeks, nose, and then lightly swpet around the forehead and jawline ......I don't wear a lot AT ALL .....just enough to give me some color
I forgot I also pencil my brown and use clear mascara to shape - have to do this after a bad waxing incident when I was 15 ......

My routine:
Primer for nose, chin, eyelids
Powder foundation for nose, chin
Cream eyeshadow - color
Powder eyeshadow - darker color for crease
Powder eyeshadow - darkest color for a thin line that looks like eyeliner
Powder eyeshadow - lightest color in my eyebrow arch
Eyebrow pencil
Mascara
Powder foundation for any other problem areas
Sugar Rose gloss

Seriously. I look like death before my make-up. I'm very pale and no matter how much sleep I get I have dark circles under my eyes. Even if I'm running too late for serious make-up, I always always always make sure to put on under eye concealer and eyeliner. I look like I'm half asleep otherwise.
ETA: On a normal day I wear (in this specific order):
Concealer, Foundation, Eyeliner, Bronzer, and Mascara.
If I'm going somewhere special I add a neutral eyeshadow because I don't know how to do anything fun there.

Nothing for work. I love makeup and wear it on the weekends but dont bother during the week. I think i look oh without it...hopefully i dont look too bad
When i do wear make up I use
Foundation
bronzer
blush
eyeshadow
liner (sometimes only on top for a cat eye look)
Mascara
Lipstick/balm (I'm loving Revlons colorburst lip butter at the moment)

i've actually been wearing a decent amount of make up lately, but who knows how long that will last..
to work:
undereye concealer
bare minerals powder (i noticed today it was a bit too dark so i need to switch to the shade below y summer shade)
bronzer on my cheeks
a bit of blush
a light tan color, darker brown, and highlighter for eyeshadow
brown eyeliner
mascara
lips i dont do bc it wears off too quick
at home/weekends (unless we have plans/an event)
concealer
powder
blush

That area is actually paler than the rest of my face, which makes me look like a reverse raccoon. 
But I've been noticing bagginess lately, so I guess we all have our challenges to overcome. I was curious if it had any affect on bags, but I guess not.

I get dark circles during fall allergy season. It's annoying bc people ask me if I'm tired  normally I don't have them

Many days, I don't wear makeup.
2-3 times a week:
Clinique city block on my cheeks (SPF 40)
Bb cream
Blush
Lip liner w a gloss
Mister light concealer under my eyes. Not sure it does much?
Pressed powder (just started this) not sure if I like using it though
Once a week I will do eyeliner and shadow. No mascara , I find myself rubbing my eyes to much to take it off
