What is your most recent success?
What is a recent success you've had? It can be huge, like earning a degree, giving birth, or overcoming a disease or injury, or something small like getting DC to eat vegetables without having a meltdown.
For me, I'm getting a lot healthier this year. Since February or so, I've lost about 25 lbs, and I went from barely able to jog .1 miles, to jogging 1.5 miles and walking another .5. Still have a long way to go, but I'm thrilled with how much better I feel already.

I don’t want to say the one in progress because I’m afraid I’ll jinx it…
I cleared out a lot of clutter. I’m really happy about that and I’m glad when I look around my apartment that I only have the basics. Less stuff = less stress and I can focus on more important stuff.

Re: What is your most recent success?
That's awesome! Congrats on that weight loss success.
For me, it's really just little things. As an example, I've gotten a lot better at saying no to people WITHOUT feeling like I need to give them a huge explanation as to why.
I make sure to carve out time every day for myself even if it means certain things have to wait. I need that little bit of downtime to just center myself and do the things that I enjoy.
Lastly, I started walking a few months ago on my treadmill and I've made it a habit to do it every day regardless of what is going on. It's so good for your mental clarity and I just feel so much more limber. Amazing what a little walk can do!

Re: What is your most recent success?
My most recent was hitting a goal I set for myself last year. To complete 52 photoshoots in the past year, and I exceeded that by quite a bit, which is pretty great considering we've been in a pandemic the entire time!

What is your most recent success?
After years of just thinking about it, I finally went and had weight loss surgery. I'm down about 30 lbs in the month since and I'm looking forward to the new me eventually.

What is your most recent success?
I overcame my nerves and spoke at a school board meeting. My 11 year old son also spoke, and I am so proud of him.

Re: What is your most recent success?
I'm excited that I have been in a habit of getting some sort of exercise for 30 minutes every day 6-7 days a week since the pandemic started.
I have seen a little change in my body - not as much as I would like, but that's my eating habits - but it still feels good.
I cannot imagine going back to a different way of life.

Got a big promotion & got through to one of my children about something very important that I have been trying to make sure that they understood.

Re: What is your most recent success?
i am trying to get healthier too. Cut out all alcohol, eating healthier, started running every day and I am doing beach body videos every day. I'm down 8 lbs already but I want to lose some more. My goal is to be able to run as fast and far as I could a few years ago. Hoping to get there by end of summer!

Re: What is your most recent success?
i put my name in the hat for a promotion.
i didn't get it. and now that i know who i would have been working for and what i would have been doing, it's a blessing i didn't get it. i would have been miserable.
but,
i put my name in. normally, i sit on the sidelines and watch others take chances.
along the way, i accidentally found out that my current boss was FREAKING OUT about the possibility of losing me and that has warmed my heart more than words can ever say.
oh, and there was that FINALLY getting skin removal surgery that i'm still recovering from and love the results - now, i'm hustling to pay carecredit off

What is your most recent success?
I kicked cancer's butt - last chemo treatment was February! My hair growth already looks like an "on-purpose" haircut instead of growing out from bald, but I'm having to deal with a lot of the after effects from the chemo (fingernails about to fall off, weight gain/weight retention, painful joints). I'm slowly trying to work on health - doing yoga and walking so hopefully one day my body will be back to normal.

Re: What is your most recent success?
I accepted help. I know it doesn't sound like much but it is a huge thing for me. Someone asked if I needed help with a scout activity that I was planning and I actually said yes I do and she was able to run to the stores for me and now I am letting my mom help me prepare for my son's bday lunch.
Letting go of this kind of control of things is a big deal and huge success for me.

Congratulations! And that you regain your health in all the things that cancer and chemo stole from you
