What kind of child am I raising?
I told Joseph that he can choose to go on a bike ride with Daddy & Maddie or he can stay home with me. If he chooses to stay home with me - no screen time (TV/computer/video games) & we were going to clean.
Now that they left on the bike ride, he came out of his room with money in his hand.
Joseph: "$23 if I don't have to clean."
Me: "What?!"
Joseph: "I'll give you $23 if I don't have to clean."
Me: "Not a chance."
Joseph: "It's $23..."
Me: "Sorry, bud. I can't be bought. You're cleaning."
He just stormed in his room. Let's hope he's cleaning it. If he comes out & tries to up the ante, I'm taking his money as a fine & making him clean anyway.
