Re: Does anyone own a house in Queens?
we live in Hollis Hills - its a small residential (very long island feel) area south of bayside. We are very happy here - we are close to everything, and in a great school district.

We live in Whitestone (Beechhurst) and we looooove it. We come from Western Suffolk (Huntington/Northport) and we are loving the area.
Are you near Le Havre?
Yup!
Love that area

Re: Does anyone own a house in Queens?
We rent an apt in College Point. I have lived in Queens all of my life:
Glendale Middle Village Ridgewood Bayside College Point
IMO there are tons of great areas - I can probably help you with any area - I have family and friends all over.

Re: Does anyone own a house in Queens?
Grew up in Whitestone and lived there until last year...
We own a coop in Bayside which is nice too...
I'm still kind of partial to Whitestone and my parents still live there but Bayside is a good place to live also!

Re: Does anyone own a house in Queens?
I grew up in North Flushing/Auburndale area & then moved to an apt. in Whitestone...both are excellent areas...Whitestone probably more so now. Bayside/Douglaston is also great.
