Gotta start early......need suggestions.......
We still have a few months but we will be spending a week out east on the North Fork (Baiting Hollow) for our 3rd anniversary. I would LOVE some recommendations for a very cozy romantic place for dinner. It doesn't have to be in the immediate area.
Our first anniversay we went to Trumpets on the Bay. Last year we went to Cooperidge Inn. We Love to try different places. Just as long as it is good food, great atmosphere, that is what matters most!
Suggestions?

DH and I really enjoy Portobello in Mattituck.
The Lobster Roll is good too, but not romantic and cozy.

We eat at Stonewall's at Cherry Creek. It is on a Golf Course an the food is DELICIOUS!!!

I only know the Cooperage Inn, Giorgio's, and how about Blackwell's Restaurant at the country club in Wading River? It's very cozy. We had my sister's bridal shower out there

Claudio's in Greenport is great!! But not romantic. The food is awesome though.
Def go to some vineyards.

Where are you staying? DH and I stayed at the Harbor Front Inn in Greenport for two days...we had a great time...definitely head to the wineries!

We are staying at my in-laws summer cottage. Free stay for a week!!!! It is soooooo relaxing there. It is a 5 miniute walk to the beach!

jamesport country kitchen is adorable...
ive only been there for lunch but its cute and cozy and the food is top rated by Zagats

The Meetinghouse Creek Inn in Aquebogue is also good. Not sure about romantic & cozy, but right on the water and the food is good. The road is off of Rte 25, just east of Rte 104 (I think that's the road). I think they also have piano fri & sat nights.

During our last visit out east we ate at the Fifth Season in Greenport. It was recommended to us and is a quaint little place that uses local fresh ingredients. The menu constantly changes. We sat at a tasting table and the chef offered us different tastings through the night. It was fabulous and I would highly recommend it. We definately plan on going back.

There is also the Elbow Room in Jamesport and Legends in New Suffolk - both very good.

We almost went here for our 1st anniversary (It actually isn't far from the place we stay) but then went to Trumpets on the Bay.

Stonewalls at the Cherry Creek golf course is very good. I have also heard that this place: Andrews is very good as well but I have not had a chance to try it yet.
