I don't know what to do with them all day. They have their toys, but nothing that I can really do with them.
I'd love any suggestions. I'm thinking I have to go out and get some "supplies" but I don't know what.

I've been doing a lot of arts and crafts with my 22 month old DD. She loves Crayola Model Magic........I gave her a bunch of cookie cutters and she has a lot of fun. We've been coloring, I just bought some finger paints, and I also have a bag of poms-poms, foam shapes, and cut up paper so she can play around.

She likes to help me cook so sometimes we bake and she loves to clean so she helps me with that too. We also play with blocks and she LOVES Mr. Potato Head. That keeps her occupied for a while. I also just got her the Crayola Glow Station On the Go and she loves that too.........she likes using the stencils. Very cute toy! It says ages 6+ but she enjoys it and knows exactly what to do. We also read a lot of books too!

Where do you do finger paints...I have them for DD and have noooo clue where to do it with her without making a painted mess all over the living room!!!

As for us we're usually in the sprinkler park or I have a kiddie pool and put her in there or let her run through the sprinklers on our lawn...if it's a day like today it's TRYING a movie, shopping, coloring, dancing...anything to make the day go byChat Icon

DS loves playdough. That takes at least a half an hour!!! Finger painting we do in the high chair or outside too.

I just cover the kitchen table with wax paper or old magazines and then let her paint in there. I got her a little art smock in Michael's for a $1.

Ryan is pretty into puzzles and trains now. I will set up a train track for him and he will keep himself entertained for a good 20 minutes with his trains.

He is also into cars and planes. Loves just lining them up in different ways.

That was a big hit here for a while.
