What kind of winter coat are you going to wear?

With the temps starting to drop idk what iam going to wear for a winter coat? I dont want to spend a lot of money on one but I want to be warm. My North face jacket that kept me warm last winter will def not fit. So what are you ladies wearing to keep warm this winter? Any ideas where to go?

I dont plan on buying a winter jacket. Hopefully something will fit even if I can't button it, I'll have something. For the holidays and parties and stuff I plan on just using a wrap with scarves and gloves. I would hate to spend that money on a winter coat for just a little while. If you wanna buy one though I would check JCPenney or Motherhood for a decent priced coat. GL!

I am reaching out to my friends to see who has a big winter coat they don't wear anymore. Hopefully someone has an old one they don't wear anymore. I am not being picky about the style, just as long as it covers me as best it can. I don't think my winter coats will fit because my boobs and stomach will be bursting. I hope someone can come thorugh for me. If not, I wil gather my coupons and hit Kohls

My mother happens to have a coat that is more tent shaped (she is a size 16 so it should work)

I just checked at the maternity store in the Source Mall and their winter coats are about $80 (Motherhood brand). I will buy a coat b/c I'm sure nothing will fit by Jan/Feb cause I'm having

Too funny - I was just about the post the same thing! Gap Maternity has a few nice ones and I think I am going to buy one from there - most likely the puffy one.

I'm going to check with friends who have kids to see if they have any coats they can lend me. I know a few that were prego in the winter. Otherwise, I'll be buying one because winter is FOREVER and I commute to the city everyday.

I am due in early Nov, but I am expecting to still be bigger than my normal size. I went to Old navy this past weekend and bought a couple sweater coats in a larger size to get me through the fall....they were only like $20 so I bought a black and brown one. Not sure what I'll do in Dec/Jan/Feb.

I am going to wear a non-maternity wool cape I found, and then I can wear it next year, too! I am so over maternity stuff!!!!!!

I did buy a trench coat that I can wear into the fall, but not wasting the money on a wool winter coat...due in December...

I would if I was due in Feb/March.

I just bought a weekend type of winter jacket (not fancy enough for work) on oldnavy.com. It was only $60 and they were having 15% off! Motherhood has some nice coats for dressier work days for about $80

I have 2 coats that I have that I think I can deal with wearing... since I always buy 2 sizes bigger since when I'm not prggo I love wearing the big bluky swearters LOL. I'm gonna try my best NOT getting one... but we'll see.

I have a large peacoat. I'm gonna try that. Hopefully the temps won't drop that fast.

Def need a winter coat since I'm due in Jan. I'm already freezing cold and winter hasn't even started... I think I'm going to check out the maternity stores this weekend and just spend the money to get myself something already. I was hoping that I could just find something in my coat closet but I'm already too big for my "bigger" coats

I was hoping to be able to wear one of my coats but they just dont fit. I just ordered this pea coat from the gap. I hope it fits well.

I have a great coat from my first pregnancy from gap so I will definitely dust that off and put it back to work.

I got a fantastic swing-style coat from the Pea in the Pod outlet - it was $350 reduced to $60!

LOVE a good bargain!
