"missy" or "mis".... my name is melissa, but since i was a few days old, my parents and family and everyone else has called me "missy". its not that its HORRIBLE, but now that i'm older, i feel like it sounds a little immature. also, the whole "mis" thing is funny. if we're in a store, and DH says " mis, do we need to get....??" then every lady near us turns around and thinks hes talking to them- LOL

Emmy!! People I have known my whole life or just met, they all insist upon Emmy. I don't mind it, but its funny because I wonder if anyone knows my real name.

LOTS of people call me Bones or Sammy Bones.. I think its cool and I got used to it

I'm Melissa too but never been a Missy always Meliss or Mel. A lot of people I know from growing up call me by my maiden name even though I'm married.

meliss is ok
i acutally love nicknames!
i do love my name, melissa, but iacutally prefer nicknames

Betty . It started in HS. When my friends, brothers and sister call me it I don't think anything of it but when anyone else does it's weird. My dad was recently talking to someone on the phone and was telling them when they call, to ask for Betty....I was like ewwwww don't call me that

i actually LOVE miss- not sure why!
i like Mis at lot, too... i think thats my favorite, but its just funny when DH uses it out in public, and every lady thinks hes talking to them and calling them " miss" LOL

My mom calls me "Bina" for short and one childhood friend came up with Beans from that... My DH calls me black beans in the summer when I'm all tanned...DEF would like to shake that one off

Bubbles, from anyone who lived in my college dorm. I had a bottle of little kid bubbles and I'd randomly release bubbles into the hallway. I think I also brought them outside for fire drills.

my old co-workers called me J-9 (jay 9)
I love it! I haven't worked with them in a couple of years and they still call me that and at my wedding, signed my guest book "to J-9"
What I love even more is when I meet new people who come up with that on their own and don't know that people actually call me that. I know its stupid but I love it
