What if you do you a chair rail with a pale yellow on top and the soft green on the bottom. Then maybe a creamy white for the trim color.




I was thinking that too....

I was thinking that too....



That's a really good suggestion.

So far we agreed on a color called green frappe #484 by Benjamin Moore.

I'm going to try to post a pic of it...

here it is...

It's small but you get the idea. It appears darker in the pic I think but it's really light and I think it will brighten up the room. Maybe we'll do the trim a creme butter color. I'm just really happy we found a solid color for the walls.

This is fun!!!

We used a light yellow...actually, the room happened to already be yellow. We just left it. We also do not know the sex of our baby! Green could get tricky...yellow at least is light enough that if you have a girl and decide on pink later, you can paint over it easier. Green, even a light shade, could be darker than you'd realize and be hard to change later!
