what relaxes you/helps you sleep?

I've been awake for about 26 straight hours now. I never went to sleep last night.

I had black bean soup (a can) with a little sour cream for dinner and got sick from it. I actually went for a haircut and had to hop out of the chair and run to the bathroom - so embarrassing - I barely made it. Omg, could you imagine puking on the floor in a salon?! Sickness continued on the drive home, then all night. I may have dozed off on the bathroom floor for a few minutes, but otherwise, no sleep at all. My pillow wasn't even touched all night.

It's now after 9am (DH is taking care of DS1) and I'm overtired and can't relax to go to sleep. I already had some tea and dry toast, and nada.

You poor thing!

Given your stomach issues I wouldn't suggest warm milk, which is what I usually WOULD suggest.

I don't really have any other ideas ... I'm so sorry you're having such a rough patch though!

I find it more comfortable to sleep on the couch lately.

Maybe take a hot shower and then lay down?

Get comfortable either on couch or in bed and watch some TV. I usually dose off and can get a good, long nap.

Shower & cotton pj's. DH & I swear by Law & Order as a sleeping pill. As much as we like the show we never make it to then end of an episode.

woohoo, slept for 2 hours and haven't been sick since this morning. I was afraid it was the stomach virus that's been going around, but it seems that last night was the worst of it.
