What rooms to AVOID (or request) at Hershey Lodge?
Just going for 1 night for Candylane....but I remember people mentioning that some rooms smelled bad and were gross.  Want to avoid those sections. Can you let me know what rooms to avoid....or what rooms to request? Thanks!!

What rooms to AVOID (or request) at Hershey Lodge?
We were in Fifth Avenue and our stuff had a musty smell when we left. Suitcases, etc. It was gross!

we never had a musty smell. I think we stayed in the peanut butter cup building because it is closest to the indoor pool.

My suitcases smelled for months, it was so gross! You couldn't really smell it when you were IN the room, but when we left, our coats, etc. everything was musty. It was VERY expensive when we went, I think I paid almost $800 for two nights, so for that price, I was really annoyed!

Yeah you go nose blind to it- like on the Febreeze commercials LOL
For what they charge they need to gut the rooms that had floods or whatever is causing that smell. That is indicative of mold.
I am highly allergic to mold so I guarantee I would have a massive allergy attack in those rooms.

I would be really worried you brought mold spores home. Musty smell usually means mold and that can spread easily.

This was over a year ago, and we haven't had any mold problems at home, thankfully!

We were in the room closest to the pool and it was terrible. If they were done in 1963 and never touched again, it would not surprise me. For the amount we paid I was disgusted and would not stay there again. It was not worth the price, and even if free or you paid me, it still would not be worth it.
