I don't want to ruin them but, with 2 young kids - I need to mop - just not sure what to use - what do you use? Thanks!

Whatever you do, don't use a steam mop!!! It totally dulls the finish. I'm a fan of murphys oil and waster. I mop it in small sections and buff/dry right away with a towel.

We use the Method wood cleaner and mop. Our floor guy said to never use water or steam.

Our floor guy told us to just use water and a mop, but after a dog and two boys later I changed and now use Murphy's Oil soap. I know people who swear by the Bona system, though.

Vinegar & water. My ex's father owned a hardwood floor company for 40 years and they say to only use vinegar & water.
