What size area rug?
The nursery measures 10.2 x 10.5. What size area rug should I look for?
I honestly have no clue what the average size rug should be. Any help is appreciated!

It totally depends on how much floor you want covered and if you want it to go under any furniture. For perspective, our nursery is 14x11 and we are doing a 5x8 rug. It will be laid in the middle if the room.

For design purposes they say that an area rug should be anchored to the floor, not floating. So that would mean some of the rug would be under furniture. When we start looking I'm going to look for a size big enough that the front of the crib would sit on the rug.
