what size for coming home outfit?
What size are you ladies buying for the coming home outfit? Newborn? 0-3? Thanks!

0-3 Some newborns don't fit in 'newborn' so if 0-3 is a little big, it's ok.

newborn. my DD was 7lbs 7oz and newborn was still big on her when she was born. she couldn't fit into any 0-3 until she was 6-8 weeks old.

I'd get both. If you're worried about the newborn one not fitting, keep the tags on and once DC is born, have someone wash it. DS was 8 lbs 1 oz at birth and was swimming in 0-3. He wore newborn outfits for the first 5 weeks.

depends on the size of the baby... ds and i were both big babies so as a result we knew we were having a big baby... sso we opted to just start off with 0-3

I say NB-DD was 8lb 4 oz and the 0-3 outfit was big on her...she was down to 7lb 10oz on discharge.
ETA now she is 8lb 8oz and still fits in NB clothes.

We are using Carters NB . I went to the outlet and bought a TON of clothes in NB and 3months from them since all I have been told is Carter's run bigger so I figure we should get some use out of the NB sizes. Also she is projected to be around 6-7lbs as of right now.

Newborn. My  is measuring pretty small, they only expect him to be 6.5 pounds at birth.

I bought Newborn because I want it to fit and not be swimming on him. It goes up to 8lbs. If he's bigger, I can have DH run out and get a larger size for him.
