What stupid things has sleep deprivation made you say?

When Andy was a newborn and DH would change him he'd never point it down, so then he'd pee out the top of the diaper and get his clothes all wet.

I was just so tired and cranky and I said "What's so hard to remember? Don't you point yours down too?"

And then DH reminded me that he's potty trained and it's not an issue for him.

When DS was a newborn I turned to my husband one night and said "we made a mistake...we should have gotten a dog instead."

Of course a few good nights sleep and I happy we have Lucas instead. He's better than a dog now

I'm not sure about saying stupid things, but my memory is shot! Of course I had a few breakdowns and would cry to DH saying I couldn't do this.

3 months of sleepless nights and I said : I think we made a mistake, I am not ready to raise a baby yet , I always feel so bad that I said such stupid thing ,my DD is
the joy of my life , I wouldn't change a thing.

I dont know if it has to do with the sleep deprivation or not or simply b/c Ive only had girls before DS...But Im always asking DH stupid winky questions...like if I sit him on my knee will I crush "the gingerbread" ....if he rolls on the carpet naked will it scratch his winky..

6 months later and I still have preggo brain..
