What table foods can I give to a 7 month old???
I've tried sweet potatoe/yams and that went over great. What else is OK. He only has two teeth on the bottom so that makes me nervous. Can he have cherios and puffs???
He's rolling and can pick his torso up a little but he's not crawling.
What's some stuff to give?

Any food that can be smashed with your fingers can be smashed with their gums. They don't use the front teeth to chew anyway.

Puffs are great because they dissolve. So when I first started them (around 6 months) we broke them in half and gave them to him.
When I started with table food I started with really soft things such as rice or mashed potatoes
Other ideas that DS loves Meatballs, Pastina in Chicken Broth, pancakes with Applesauce, mac & cheese, American cheese, Gerber makes diced Apples that I cut an give to him, he loves them and they are much softer than regular apples would be…
I started DS on table food probably around 7 months and now at 9 months he pretty much eats whatever we eat. He too only has 2 teeth.

DD is 8 months and has 2 teeth coming in on the bottom. We mainly stick to stage 2 baby food but have experimented a little. I've given her cheerios & yesterday when we were at dinner at my parents I gave her very small pieces of roast chicken to try.
She loved the chicken, actually banged the tray for more. It was really soft and the pieces were small so she just gummed it.
eta: I have quite a few food allergies so that's we've been slow with food.

DD is going to be 7 months this week and we have just recently started yogurt, pastina, american cheese, puffs, and also fruits and veggies cut up into small pieces. She doesn't have any teeth yet but does really well with everything. I go to the doctor on Thursday and will see if she can start egg yolks.
