You will know when she's ready based on where you give her baths.

DS was in the little sitting mesh bathseat for about 2 months... if you want to dip feet in a baby pool, it should be fine, but for them to get real use out of it... if you are due in the summer, it'll be next year.

Once he has full head control and can sit on his own in a baby pool. But I will probably have him going in a pool with me once he has full head control before that. It probably won’t happen this summer.

DS was in a pool at 6 months. We went on vacation.

DS was a little over 2 months when we put him in a baby pool. He was born in April and was in the baby pool mid-late June. We just stood him up in it to get his feet wet, and he loved it.

Ped told me no swimming until a min. of 4 months but suggested 6 months.

Last summer we put ds in with us in june at around 4 months. He didn't get it. He thought he was in the tub and just looked confused. He liked it a bit better by the end of the summer but tbh it wasn't until this summer that he really spalshes around and plays.
