What time are you trick or treating?
ANd what is the age of your DC? I'm trying to think of when is best to go. He's only 18 months and I'm just gonna go to a couple close houses and I'm thinking 4-4:30, but is that too early? I know the bulk of kids usually come at 5-5:30 and I'd like to be home to hand out candy cause we get A LOT of kids. But I'm worried no one's even gonna be home at 4-4:30. Are you leaving work early to go ToT earlier or hand out candy earlier?

DS is 21 months. We are taking him down by my parents house around 3:30 or so. We are going with my sister and my nephew.

I'll be at work til 3pm, so by the time I get home, and get her dressed and take about 500000000 pictures of her with my BFF's girls... we'll prob be out the door by 4/430.

I have a 7 month old. I am taking 1/2 a day off from work tomorrow so I can go pick him up and bring him by my office so everyone can see him and take pictures. Then I will just take him to his grandma's house, his aunt and uncle, and maybe 3 other houses of friends. Then he will be mommy's helper handing out candy to all the trick or treaters  I can't wait!!!!

DS is 4 months and we are going with a bunch of DH's cousins.
We are meeting them in Wantagh at 3:45 because that's when the big kids get off the bus from school.

I have the day off tomorrow ao I am going to take DD (2.5 yrs old) to my job, my sisters job and the mall in the layte am. Then Ill take her around the neighborhood around 4/4:30.

Oh, everyone's going earlier than I thought they would. Maybe we should go earlier so I'm home whent he crowds come. I don't want the bigger kids int he way while he's trying to climb stairs, etc. Plus, I bought so much candy, I want to make sure it goes or I'll gain 10lbs tomorrow night.

We've tried going before 5 in previous years but no one is ever home from work. We'll probably go around 5:30.

I grew up on LI and remember going whenever we got home from school. I live in OH now and the towns assign trick or treating time. Its kind of weird. Like trick or treating is from 6-8pm. Its good in the sense that you know after 8pm no one will be rining your doorbell.
Just thought I'd share a Halloween tidbit about living in the Midwest.
