what time does your dc wake up? time management?

I just feel so well frumpy and disorganized...not every day but more then I want. I never replied to the "frumpy" thread but I do believe most of it is a frame of mind and well I need to get my arse and mind moving more.

People have told me and I know many of you have posted that you get up before dc gets up and gets ready/works out/etc...

But what time does your dc wake up?

For me dd gets up anywhere between 5:30 and 6:30am on a rare occassion maybe 7am but thats the absolute latest. She only naps for about 1 - 1.5 hours around noon - when I come on here, wash dishes, clean and start getting dinner together.
At night I try to work on work stuff I only work 2 days a week but it is my own business that runs 6 days a week and I also teach in those 2 days so their is grading and preparing stuff too.

I'm starting to get better doing stuff with her under my feet..dh always makes me feel better and reassures me that he would rather see me play with and teach dd then have a clean house but I just feel like Im behind the ball all the time...

just to add
DD still gets a bottle in the morning Chat Icon during which I unload dishwasher and vacuum (I must vacuum every day..dogs)
I guess I'm just looking how to schedule me time... dh works nights so some mornings he gets home in time to play with her and do breakfast so somedays it works
dd does go to bed around 7-7:30 so its a trade off I get more time in the evening (normally Im just so done by then I just want to veg...or end up doing work stuff)

DS gets up between 7 and 7:30.

I do not get up before him. He gets up and hangs out in bed with DH with his milk for about a half hour. I empty/load dishwasher, take any meat out that may need to be defrosted, start laundry and/or fold laundry.

The rest of the morning is occupied with DS. Either errands, playdates, or some days just hanging at home.

Lunch is around 12:30. Nap time is usually 1:30-3 (sometimes 4). Sometimes I will shower during nap time but most days I like to lay in bed and relax (I'm 33 weeks pregnant with twins). He gets up, and while he has a snack I prepare dinner. We play.

Dinner is usually at 6:30. Bath at 7:30. Bed at 8. If I didn't shower during naptime I shower as soon as he goes to bed.

I will say there are plenty of days where during "our playtime" he actually winds up self entertaining while I do other things around the house. Extra load of laundry, phone calls, straighten up, etc. But the above is just a sample how our day flows.

Re: what time does your dc wake up? time management?

This was our schedule yesterday.. most days:

Dh and I wake up at 6:00 and:
1. shower
2. get dressed and put on makeup
3. prepare my lunch
4. eat breakfast
5. set up dinner.

Dh:
gets dressed
eats breakfast
prepares DS's daycare bag.

Son wakes at: 6:45-7:00:
DH gets him dressed and then we play until 7:15 when I leave for work.

DH takes Son to daycare at 7:30

afterwork:

I pick DS up at 4:30
Play outside until about 5:10
prepare Sons dinner and have him eat at 5:30 while I make dinner for DH and I.

Dh comes home at 6:00. I eat while DH plays with DS.
6:15- DH eats
I give DS a bath and DH cleans up dinner.

6:30-6:45-last bottle for Son and playtime.
8:00 -DS bedtime.
From 8-9 we sit on the couch and watch tv b/c we are exhausted.

9:00 I go to bedChat Icon

5:30ish. Fun!

If DH and I are both home, we get up around 5:30 and start getting ready, tag teaming any kid that may be up.

If DH is out of town I get up by 5 and get ready so I am set when the first kid wakes up.

As soon as I get up DS wakes up. He starts screaming for me, and I usually am packing the bags, and getting ready with him hanging on my leg. It is usually between 6-6:30, and we are on the go until we leave the house at 7.
