what time is everyone trick or treating?
We want to trick or treat on our block (just a few houses of people we're friendly with) and also drive to Sayville where our parents live to trick or treat at their houses. DD naps usually from about 11-1:30 and then has lunch. So that means we wouldn't be ready to go until like 2ish. I was thinking of maybe trick or treating on our block just before nap time , but I'm I don't know if that's too early. What do you think? DD is only 18 mths.

Since it is a Saturday I think you could get away with going before lunch but personally I wouldnt go till around 2ish. That's what time we are going.

I'm surprised so many people are going that early. We are not going out until 5ish.
Since it's a Saturday, we won't really be around to answer the door for trick-or-treaters until late after either.

Want to hear something weird....here in OH the town dictates the time for trick or treating and they call it beggars day! So my town trick or treating is from 6:30-8:30 pm. Before or after that is not allowed. Its bizzare and so different from how I grew up.
Its kinda nice in a way that at 8:30 I don't have to worry about kids ringing my bell. Plus, if someone has their porch light on that means they participate in trick or treating. If the light is not on, you are not supposed to go to their house.
Ahh....wierd life in the midwest!

Probably around 5. We won't be around early in the day to answer the door, and I suspect most people won't be either. I wish everyone went at the same time.

I like that though! Although it's a little late, but I guess it's due to dinner time.

We are going out east at around 2pm and see where that takes us but we'll be home at night so that DS can give out candy to our local trick-or-treaters.
