What time to take trigger shot?
My iui is schedules for Friday at 9:45am. Dr wants me to trigger "tomorrow". Told me anytime I want. He didn't want me taking it todau to give the 2 follicles some more time to grow. What time do I take it? First I was thinking do it 24 hours before so 10 am tomorrow. Then I was thinking to do it at 6am when I get up so it's more like 28 hours. Damn it - I wish I was told a time!

Re: What time to take trigger shot?
Typically it's given 24-36 hours before IUI, so technically you can take it now, or early tomorrow morning (just not any later than 24 hours before).
Good luck

What time to take trigger shot?
I did mine around 10pm on a Thursday for a 9am IUI on a Saturday. What did you decide to do? BTW I think you should have been told.

Re: What time to take trigger shot?
I never heard of an RE not giving an exact time to trigger. That's how the IUI is timed properly. Anyway, I've always triggered about 36 hours before IUI, so 9pm for a 9am IUI.

Re: What time to take trigger shot?
the IUI I did last month, I triggered on day 13 at noon; then the dr. did my IUI on day 15 at like 9 am; I think that was too late as it was almost 48 hrs after.
so today I went for trigger on day 13 at 10am; and doing the IUI tomorrow at noon. By the time he actually does the procedure it will probably be around 1ish. So hopefully I catch it at the right time this month.

I feel like based on the op info I can only guess what Dr and office would say that.
You should be told when to trigger

You shouldn't choose your trigger time -- doctor's office should have given you either an exact time (i.e. 9pm) or a time frame (i.e. anytime between 9-10pm).
