What times of day to you feed DC cereal
My DD just started cereal this week. Got the OK from PEd. She is 17 weeks old. We started off 1x per day then increased to 2x per day after a few days.
My question...do you do it at same feeding as bottle or wait and do it separate.
Do you do it before bottle, after bottle...i am sooo confused I have been giving her the 8am bottle then feeding her cereal right after. Is that ok. Then at night same thing....8pm bottle and cereal right after.
is this stupid? Is there a better way?

Re: What times of day to you feed DC cereal
Since Mason is in daycare the Ped told us to start it at night when we get home. He'd have a bottle at 4 at daycare then I'd give him a bottle at around 6:30 PM and then he'd get his bottle around 7:30 right b4 bed. He usually has a bottle every 4 hours so we give him the cereal inbetween bottles. So far that works for us

Re: What times of day to you feed DC cereal
They say that the real nutritional benefits come from formula/BM so I would make that the priority. For example, for our evening feeding I usually will give DD a bottle (5oz.) when she wakes up from nap---say between 3-4PM then I give her cereal & baby food at 5:30. When she goes to bed, I will top her off with a small bottle (3oz.) at 6:30.
As the PP said, do what works for you but don't neglect the importance of milk.
