What to bring a mom on bedrest?
A friend of mine who's pregnant with her 2nd baby had to check into the hospital on Monday for bedrest due to placenta previa. She's going to be there for the remainder of her pregnancy. I'm going to go visit her tomorrow and need ideas of a little gift that can entertain her. She was always a very active person so I can only imagine she's bored out of her mind right now.

How about making a nice basket with some magazines, crossword puzzles etc. and maybe throw in some snacks.

Does she knit? If she does, I'd bring her some new needles and yarn and some patterns from the internet.
Or magazines, all kinds.
As silly as it sounds, I love adult coloring books. They have awesome patterns and things to color and it just is so calming and relaxing to me. Maybe bring her some of those and some colored pencils?
Does she have a laptop to use? Maybe also give her a website with good games on them. I love the escape the room games, they could keep me busy for hours.

bring her FOOD for her and DH....I made dinner and brought salad and rolls to go with it for a friend who was on bedrest once.

how about a small scrapbook and some scrapbooking accessories so that she can make a sort of predecorated scrapbook/brag book for when the baby arrives.

Thanks for the great idea guys! I think I'll bring a couple of magazines and snacks for tomorrow and then take inventory while I'm there to see what else she might need since I'm sure other people have been bringing her stuff.

Definitely food.
Does she have an iPod/iTouch/iPhone? if so, maybe an iTunes gift card so she can d/l books, tv shows, etc. Is she able to sit up? One of my friends was on bed rest for 2 months but she had to lay down almost the whole time.
