What to buy 2nd DS for Xmas

Everyone is asking me what to get AJ for Xmas. Honestly, I have no idea. I don't even know what to get him myself. Xavier has so much stuff that I'm just giving our little one. So I don't even know what gifts to put under the tree for AJ.

For mom's with DC of the same sex under the age of two what did you get your second?

Activity-based gifts. Tickets/passes for amusement parks, bounce houses, chuck-e-cheese tokens, children's museum passes, etc. Stuff like that doesn't take up space in the house....

I'm having the same exact issue. Both boys are almost exactly two years apart and born in the summer. The baby has everything from his older brother including lots more gifts he got when he was born. I really don't need anything and everyone asks what to get the baby for the holidays.

I am having the same problem! I have 2 sons that are 13 months apart. I feel like anything I would suggest is something that my older son will wind up playing with. Or, we have everything that is more age appropriate.

I know my parents are buying them a playset for outside as a joint gift. And a few gifts we are buying them (like a kitchen) also are a "joint" gift. I also figure that they both are going to wind up playing with most of the toys. I am buying them food to go with the kitchen and will probably wrap it up for my younger son even though they both will play with it.

I posted the same yesterday. My boys are 2 & 16 months & I'm at a complete standstill with my youngest. Since they are only 10.5 months apart, not much has changed in toys.

I have the same issue as well.
Some ideas:
matching pajamas (my boys love this)
gift cards to Stride Rite
gift cards to Gymboree class (or any other classes you might take)
And if there is 1 toy that we have that shows to be a "problem" I ask for another of that same toy. Aviod conflicts!


ETA- I also just let people get what they want for the boys and (shhhh don't tell anyone!) I just return it for store credit and get them something when they need it. Make sure you ask for gift receipts!

We definitely need a wagon so I will ask for that. I planned on getting DS1 a kitchen so eventually both will play with that. I have seen the FP jumping ball toys that is appropriate for DS2 once he is sitting up. I forgot that DS1’s similar toy is broken since he stuffed the wrong ball in the tube and now it doesn’t work!

If you don't have this yet or haven't bought it yet, my sister bought DS1 the FP singing and dancing dog. He plays with it often and my mom showed it to DS2 and he loves it. So this turned into a toy for both.

You know what else I was just thinking was anything personalized! Like personalized chairs, towels, backpacks, pillows, sweaters... I like to do this as well as it is defintely their own.
