What to expect at the first gyno appointment

I am going to my first gyno appointment on May 28th. What should I expect? Blood test? Pregnancy test? Sono? I'd be about 7 1/2 weeks by then.

I was only 4 weeks pregnant when I went in for my first appointment. I had a pap done ( I was due for one) and then I met with the doctor to discuss any questions I had, to talk about blood tests. I was given a script for prenatals and some free samples as well.

I didn't go in for my first sono (internal) until I was 5 weeks 6 days. I had to have my bloodwork done before I went in for my sono.

I had my first appointment last week. It was basically an annual appointment. She also sent me for bloodwork. I have my first sono this week (I should be about 8 weeks). I think every doctor is different. My doctor likes to schedule several shorter appointments in the first trimester. My doctor also doesn't schedule sonos until at least 8-9 weeks.

I just sat with the doctor and they tried to take blood. She ended up sending me to a lab. I also had a urine test. At my next appointment they did the exam and a sonogram.

they had me pee in a cup and did a preggo test, then i basically just met with the Dr and he talked to me... they gave me a rx for bloodwork and i came back the next week for a sono and another appt- one of those two appts they also gave me a quick internal, i forget if it was the first or the second though... they have all started blending together into one...
