What type of bag/backpack for Disney?
DD is 4.5, fully potty trained. What type of bag should I bring to to the parks? Can I take it on the rides?
I HATE wearing a back pack when it's hot. I need ideas.
Need (at least): Sunblock Sunglasses Hats Small First Aid kit Tissues Wipes Anti-bacterial Hand Sanitizer Chastick Wallet Camera iPhone DD's autograph book Will carry our maps and tickets in it.
ETA: Ponchos if there could be rain EATA: Forgot to add Wallet
*For some days a I'll need to have a change of clothes for DD, like at Epcot when we do the princess lunch.

We use a sling backpack. It is a bit smaller than a regular backpack but still holds a lot, would hold all you said. We got it at Eddie Bauer.

I would use my LeSportSac messenger bag for all that- lots of compartments and easy to open flap. Could wear it on one shoulder or across shoulders and if you had a stroller, it would hang pretty easily on that.

LOL I don't DH never minds so he carries the backpack...LOL.
Are you bringing a stroller? I would suggest getting something small you don't care about (in case it disappears). I used to leave one old bag with things we didn't care about losing in the stroller. This way you can leave the wipes, tissues, sunscreen, hats, 1st aid kit etc. Then you would really only need to carry - camera, and phone.
BTW are you staying onsite? If so your tickets are on your room card. A friend several years ago suggested a lanyard to me. I get a lanyard with a card holder and put my DL and a few dollars and my keycard in that. Then I don't have to worry about a wallet in the parks. Makes it SO much easier when you go through the turnstiles, get a FP, or buy something -charged to your room. You just pull it out and don't have to fuss with a wallet. Saw lots of people doing that in the parks.
I would get a sling type bag. You can bring pretty much any of those (backpack/purse/sling) onto rides. More wild ones have an elastic type pocket to put your bag into. If you think you will do water rides (like the raft ride in AK) make sure you bring a plastic bag to protect your camera and phone.
