What veggies do you give your toddler?
And in what form? We're very into finger foods at the moment and I'm having a hard time getting vegetables in him. He'll eat carrot sticks and sugar snap peas (although not all that much manages to get in him) and if he's in the mood, he'll pick up peas off of his tray. He is crazy about cauliflower with cheese, but now that he wants to feed himself all the time, it's hard to feed it to him. But here's a list that we've had no luck with:
cherry tomatoes baby corn corn kernels broad beans baked sweet potato regular potato baked beans broccoli
Any ideas? Also, do you think at this stage it's more important to get the vegetables in them or for them to learn how to eat them/enjoy them?
Thanks!

Re: What veggies do you give your toddler?
My DD loves most veggies, but not all. Because there are so many she does like, I don't force the ones she doesn't. I may keep offering on different occasions, but I dont make her eat them when she refuses.
I've noticed she is not a fan of potatoes--especially white potatoes. She also doesn't like green beans or brussel sprouts. She seems on the fence about asparagus.
She loves peas, carrots, spinach, corn, squash, broccoli, peppers, lima beans (actually most plain beans-red beans, black beans, chick peas (she LOVES hummus)).
Whenever I make her eggs, I put veggies in her eggs and she loves them. I usually use spinach, but also use broccoli

Re: What veggies do you give your toddler?
I recently started 2 1/2 y/o on zuccini and red peppers (my mom had them in her house)
I cut them into strips and told him they were veggie strips... pretty red and green ones.... made lots of yummy noises and he went with it.
I offered him "dip" (dressing) and he declined it....
DS also eats frozen peas and green beans... he "drinks" them from a cup.
He eats corn kernals and on the cob.
He won't eat leafy veges or "trees"
