What was yoiur favorite thing to play

when you were little. I loved playing Cashier. I would take all of the cans out of my mothers cabinets, and ring them up. Of course, my customers were imaginary, but it was still fun. I even saved all of my allowance to buy myself a calculator that had paper, and made receipts. LOL

I also used to play "Boat" with my sisters. We had bunk beds, and would pretend we were fishing from the top bunk.

we would make the backyard into our houses. we would use the swing set, the table and chairs and my little cabbage patch play house



i also loved pretending i was an acrobat on the swingset.
im shocked i didnt break my neck on it! i wasnt very delicate with my "moves"


barbie house as well - setting up the barbie house and changing the clothes over and over again

Barbies...or more so...setting up the Barbie furniture. Could do this for HOURS!!!

Snake cube or Rubick's cube.

Teacher (later became one). I had a blackboard and my Cabbage Patch Kids were my students.

Ha, there were three things.

Cashier, like you. My friend and I actually had a "pizza place" and used paper plates as pizza pies.

We also used to play "bar" during the summer in my parents' pool. It was an inground pool and near the steps there was a "jacuzzi" that they NEVER turned on, but water always came slowly out of the jets. If you squeezed the plastic jet closed, water would shoot out of the top tube that was sticking out of the cement on the side of the pool. That's how we'd fill the "beers." Man, I was already a deliquent at 8.

We also used to pretend that we worked in a bank. I would spend HOURS filling out my ledger. My friend would be sitting in the living room watching TV while I'm filling in this dumb book with "transactions."

BTW, this friend is honeywolf73 from the boards. Christine, show yourself and 'fess up.

Fort- we would build it bigger & better every time!

Barbies! My sister & I would spend HOURS setting the scene.....the clothes, the car, the house, the kids & accesories..............................................................and then my sister would ALWAYS say "I'm tired now, I don't want to play"

Dolls especially barbies! My friends used to come over with all their barbie furniture and clothes. Then we would put all our stuff in one big pile and we would take turns picking what we wanted. Then we pick one side of the room to set up are barbie house. It would take hours.

I used to play video store.
I would take all the tapes out and lay the empty sleaves all over the couches!

House in the backyard with all the neighborhood kids

Barbies in my neighbors basement - they had two huge trunks filled with barbies and accessories - we would each take a couch and use that for our Barbie's houses.

we used to play school all the time with my cousins! my grandmom somehow got ahold of "real" school desks and books that someone was getting rid of... we thought we were in heaven- LOL we used to play school in her basement for hours! we also used to put on plays for whoever was around to watch- lol i also LOVED my fisher price "little people". my sister and i used to play with those for hours- even as we got older. my mom said those were the one thing that she would never throw out because we liked them so much
LOL i think this is the problem with kids today- they don't use their imagination enough.. its all about video games graphics...

Its all true I witness it all. We also use to play stables in the back of my aunts house and pretend that there were horses tied to the trees. We named them all.

OMG!!! We use to play "Boats" w/ my cousins on their bunk beds to!!! They had another bed across from it & we would have to try and get to the other "boat" w/ out falling in the water & get eaten by sharks!

Beautician....I always loved giving my barbies a make over. Needless to say by the time I was done, my barbies were bald and they had lipstick all over them.
