What was your favorite Wedding Favor?

We did jam from Briermeire Farms. People are still talking about them.

Ha! I thought you asked what was my wedding favor. My bad lol.
My fav. by far is a set of (I think 5)little cups/tiny bowls. DH and I use them ALL THE TIME when cooking and eating. They are great for prep work and side sauces.

something edible
i don't care for trinkets. it actually makes me sad because i know that hosts/newlyweds put thought, effort, and money into them.
for my wedding, we did the candy buffet near the exit. this way people were able to fill a small chinese take-out box of candy as they were heading out. from what i was told, my guests enjoyed it... like others have mentioned, they were able to pick through their goodies on their way home.

Although I thought the ice cream scoop was pretty useful.
I hate donations in lieu of a favor. Just skip the favor & donate. No need to publicize that you're taking a tax deduction instead of giving favors.

Anything edible! Everything else will just end up in the trash.
We did boxes of jelly beans in our wedding colors, which were different tints of orange. I got a bunch of clear foldable boxes on the internet and lots of jelly beans in flavours like cantaloup, orange sorbet, tangerine, vanilla, banana etc. Filled up the boxes with Jelly beans, tied with an orange ribbon et voila! It was fun!

We did glass coasters which everyone still uses (not personalized) and since we got married 4th of July weekend we did really long like 16" sparklers (3 per guest) tied together with a personalized ribbon and a personalized book of matches that said Met My Match, which was a blast!
My friend did this. We use the coasters every day. They're the photo ones, and I put pics of us from the wedding in there. Super nice and useful!

The best favor we received from a wedding was a bottle opener that looked like a golf ball. The groom is a huge golfer and it was a really nice weight. We still have it and use it, the wedding was over 6 years ago.

I did a full size bottle of wine per couple, made thank you tags for watch bottle and had them at each table. It made the tables look really nice and everyone left with some booze.

We just went to a wedding where they did a donation for breast cancer in lieu of a traditional favor. It came with a small, metal pink ribbon pin. I thought that was really nice. A lot of people were putting them on at the wedding. We did Lindt truffles at our wedding. Easy, inexpensive, and it doesn't sit in someone's draw for all eternity!

wine....we did little trees, Colorado spruces to be exact. I still have ours 12 years later. It is now 5 feet tall.
